Flora’s Guide to a Second Chance at Love and Life

Chapter 1570

Keaton was still on the fence, but Patricia was way past the point of patience. She was sure there was no way Fiona could have sorted things out in such a short

"If we head over now, we can catch her off guard," Patricia thought, itching to see what Fiona might say for herself.

"Professor, we really can't wait any longer," she insisted, tugging on Keaton's sleeve as she made her way towards the rocky outcrop.

Even the parents hanging around sensed something fishy. They figured claims like these wouldn't just pop up out of nowhere, so they jumped on Patricia's bandwagon. Some folks, who'd disliked Fiona right from the start, were more than happy to pile on.

Keaton took a good, hard look at the scene, then glanced over at Nash. He was chilling against a boulder, casually scrolling through his phone, not showing the slightest interest in jumping in. Fiona seemed just as unfazed.

Keaton was in a tough spot. He couldn't wrap his head around the idea of Fiona doing something so outrageous, but he also didn't want Patricia to end up in hot water or worse, get expelled.

But there needed to be some kind of resolution.

Just as Patricia and the parents were ramping up their accusations, Fiona suddenly turned her eyes towards the path down the hill and said calmly, "Hold on

a sec."

Everyone was caught off guard by Fiona's words, their eyes glued to her- especially Patricia, who couldn't hide her excitement.

Finally, Fiona was showing some fear. But even if she was rattled, it wasn't gonna matter; Patricia wasn't about to let her off easy.

"What's the holdup, huh? Afraid your secret's about to spill?" Patricia taunted, her eyes gleaming with a smirk. "You better come clean while you still can."

"Come clean? Yeah, I think it's high time for a proper explanation," Fiona responded with a twinkle in her eye. She straightened up, strolled over to Keaton, gave Nash a gentle nudge with her foot, then turned to Keaton. "I think it's best if I show you the way."

Fiona's response left everyone scratching their heads, especially Patricia, who frowned, trying to figure out what Fiona was up to.

Without bothering to explain further, Fiona grabbed Nash's arm and headed towards the rocky area.

The group, which had now become a mini-crowd, followed along. With every step closer, Patricia's nerves were on edge. She had no clue what Fiona was planning.

"Fiona, you'd better spill the beans now, or it's gonna get ugly for you later," Patricia said, lifting her chin. with an air of arrogance, casting a disdainful look at Fiona. "Did you murder someone? Did you toss the body off the cliff?"

The accusation sent a wave of shock through the crowd.

Murder and disposing of a body!

An outrageous thought, especially since they were just high school students.

Some parents, drawn by curiosity, were floored by the scandalous twist.

"Could she really be that bold?"

"Hard to swallow. With her petite frame, who'd believe she's capable of such a crime?"

"True. I wasn't her biggest fan at first glance, but throwing around baseless accusations is just wrong."

Patricia was thrown into a panic. What was going on?

Why was everyone suddenly turning against her?
