Flora’s Guide to a Second Chance at Love and Life

Chapter 1600

After settling the matter with the Woods family's old manor, Fiona was about to head out. She'd only stopped by to clear things up, after all.

But just as she was turning to leave, Nash's mom grabbed her arm. With the sky getting darker, she gave Jackson a playful nudge, thinking it was high time he got a clue. As his sister, she felt a responsibility to steer him right. Missing this chance would be a real shame, and she wouldn't know what to do with him.noveldrama

"Fiona, did you bring me any new trinkets today? The ones you brought before were absolutely gorgeous and have become prized pieces in my collection," Nash's mom said, her eyes lighting up with excitement as she cheerfully dragged Fiona into her room.

"Come on, dear, let's head to my room and check out your latest treasures."

Fiona nodded, knowing there was still time, and Jackson would likely drive her back later. She didn't dwell on it much.

"Mom, what are you up to? Fiona needs to get back to school later, or she might miss dorm curfew," Nash urged, feeling a bit uneasy about his mom's intentions with Fiona hanging around. It wasn't that he didn't trust her; it was just that her antics were often unpredictable.

"You little rascal, get out of here," Nash's mom playfully scolded, giving him a light shove. "Interrupt me, will you? I'll teach you a lesson."

Nash glanced over at Jackson, who suddenly called out to Mary, "When's dinner ready?"

"In about half an hour, young master."

"Okay," Jackson replied. Dinner first, then seeing Fiona off, seemed to fit the schedule.

In the room, Fiona pulled out a design sketch from her pocket,.

revealing a uniquely intricate hairpin.

It was a style she hadn't se fore

and it looked quite complex to make.

"Fiona, this is fantastic! There's a designer competition coming up online. Why don't you enter? I think you've got an amazing talent," Nash's mom suggested.

"Auntie, take a look at this," Fiona said, handing her a small jewelry box. As soon as it was opened, a hint of jasmine fragrance filled the air. Fiona smiled, "What do you think of these jasmine earrings?

Nash's mom was stunned by the jasmine earrings. How did they still have such a scent?

Typically, keeping a fragrance like

that isn't easy. Even refined

perfumes lose their scent after a month as they interact with the air. But these jasmine earrings were something special.

"They have fresh jasmine flowers inside, and this small bottle here is a concentrated essence. It can keep the scent alive for at least three years."

"Three years!" Nash's mom exclaimed, glancing at the earrings. Yet, despite their allure, she was more captivated by Fiona's design, saying, "I still prefer your hairpin design."

"This is just my friend's initial draft. Once she finishes the final piece, I'll make sure you're the first to see it."

A lover of beautiful collectibles, Nash's mom clutched the design sketch, her hands trembling slightly. "This is just the first draft?"

If the initial draft was this stunning, the final product would surely be extraordinary!
