Flora’s Guide to a Second Chance at Love and Life

Chapter 1733

Fiona nodded, saying, "That works."

The matter with International Glam needed to be put back on the agenda. It was a key factor in getting Jasmine acknowledged by the Bryant family. Fiona wished for Jasmine to return to the family fold. Even as an extended member, she shouldn't be pushed to the brink of survival.

"Fiona, thank you. Without you, I probably wouldn't have lasted this long, let alone turned International Glam into what it is today," Jasmine sighed.

Fiona gave a gentle smile. Between them, gratitude was unnecessary.

In Fiona's eyes, they had gone through thick and thin together, and no simple "thank you" could encapsulate that bond. Over the years, they had become each other's most important and closest confidants.

"I'm sleepy," Fiona said, avoiding any mushy conversation. She leaned back on the couch, closed her eyes, and pretended to doze off.

Jasmine couldn't help but chuckle. She knew exactly what Fiona was up to but decided not to call her out. That was Fiona-always finding an out in moments like these.

Jasmine leaned back on the other side of the couch, resting her head next to Fiona's, her smile growing wider. "Fiona, you're always like this. What am I going to do with you?" she sighed.

Then, a spontaneous thought hit her. She turned slightly and planted a playful kiss on Fiona's cheek. "There, a kiss for you."

Fiona's eyes flew open, staring at Jasmine in disbelief. "I'm straight!" shenoveldrama

exclaimed, quickly scooting to the corner of the couch.

"So am I. I just wanted to give you a kiss. You're so pretty."

Fiona: "..."

Was it too late to make a break for it? She regretted not booking a hotel room for the night. Amid their playful teasing, they both drifted off to sleep.

The next morning, Fiona headed to school. She thought high school was tough, but she didn't expect college to start with 8 AM classes. It was sheer torture.

With dark circles under her eyes, she trudged to the classroom. There was a freshman orientation today As soon as Fiona squeezed into the crowd Amy grabbed her arm, Ker excitement barely contained Beside her were Nash, Tyler, and Shelly.

Fiona was intrigued—what kind of social butterfly was Amy? In just one night, she managed to gather so many friends? Flora's spot as her best friend was under threat.

"Fiona, come on over! We saved the best seat for you," Amy said, linking arms with Fiona and guiding her to a prime spot. It had a great view and wasn't easy to

secure.

Fiona glanced at Amy, unable to suppress a warm smile. "Thanks."

To her surprise, Amy blushed and quickly lowered her head, her voice soft and shy. "No problem."

"What's up with you?" Shelly teased, nudging Amy and bursting into laughter. "Seriously, are you blushing? Amy, do you have a crush on Fiona?"

"Don't be silly. I'm straight. I just can't resist the academic star type. It makes me blush."

Shelly occasionally chatted with Tyler, their conversation light and easygoing. Nash, however, remained quiet, rarely speaking.

Fiona glanced over at him. Nash was absorbed in a game, and she could tell that ever since the incident in Southeast Asia, he had changed. He wasn't as talkative and seemed like a different person altogether.
