Chapter 1736
Soon enough, Fiona became the talk of the campus. Everyone jumped on the bandwagon to vote for her on the college forum, crowning her as the "Belle of Center College."
The news spread like wildfire, and it seemed like Fiona was the only one not in on the secret, while everyone else was buzzing with excitement.
People flocked around Fiona, eager to get her contact info because, let's be honest, she was a real stunner. But Fiona? She was blissfully unaware of all the fuss. She ducked out midway through the orientation. Why hang around for something she found mind-numbingly boring?
As Fiona made her exit, most of her entourage followed suit.
Amy hurried to catch up with her, falling in step beside her. "Hey, I'm doing a dance at the end of the ceremony. Wanna come watch?" she asked with enthusiasm.
Fiona pulled out an earbud, curiosity piqued. "A dance?" she echoed, tilting her head.
She hadn't pegged Amy for a dancer. As they strolled back to the dorms, Fiona gave Amy a once-over, noticing how her build was perfect for dancing.
"Sure thing!" Fiona grinned, genuinely curious to see Amy's moves.
Amy had this timeless beauty about her, like a classic heroine from a vintage novel. Her personality was a delightful mix of gentle grace and vibrant energy, making her even more appealing.
Then there was Shelly, the quintessential modern girl, always ahead of the curve when it came to fashion and trends.
All of them were beauties in their own right.
Jane, too, was striking, but her mean streak and nasty attitude turned Fiona off. She never could see past Jane's flaws to appreciate her looks.
After Fiona left, Jane popped up, holding a program sheet with a
mischievous grin. She told somet behind her, "Add Fiona's someone
name to the
lineup."
"Jane, you sure that's a good idea?" the person behind her questioned. She was
a student council member and had always been tight with Jane.
The freshman welcome event was a student council gig, so tweaking the lineup was a piece of cake for her.
Jane arched an eyebrow, giving a derisive snort. "Not gonna do it?"
With that, Jane spun on her heel, tossing a parting shot over her shoulder. "Don't let me catch you in the student council again."
The message was loud and clear: leave on your own or get the boot.
Anyone who crossed Jane usually ended up in hot water, facing bullying and other unpleasant situations.
Except Fiona. She couldn't care less about Jane, and somehow, it seemed like Jane was the only one who ever got her comeuppance.
After a brief moment of panic, the girl quickly grabbed Jane's arm and dropped to her knees in the empty backstage area, desperate enough that no one would see her
humiliation.
"Jane, I'm sorry. I'll add Fiona's name right away. Please, don't be mad," she pleaded.
Jane savored this moment of

"Then why are you still standing here? Get to it," Jane scoffed.
What do you think?
