His Unveiled Passion

Chapter 434

"I knew it," Tessa grumbled as she walked toward her white McLaren P1.

A pleased smile appeared on Stephen's lips when he saw the vehicle.

This was the car he had gotten for Tessa last year.

He had said a great deal of hurtful things when he broke up with Tessa. So, he knew that Tessa would never accept the car if he gave it to her himself. Thus, he had no choice but to ask Quentin for a favor.

Tessa still had no idea that he had bought it for her to this very day.

Ever since Wynn entered Tessa's life, Tessa had been taking the bodyguard everywhere with her.

As a result, she was not only Tessa's personal bodyguard but also her designated driver.

Stephen only saw Wynn sitting in the driver's seat when they got closer to the car. The smile on his lips immediately vanished.

The McLaren was a two-seater. Where was he supposed to sit if Wynn was the driver and Tessa was in the passenger seat?

Tessa glanced at Stephen and smiled. "I'm so sorry, Mr. Jacobson. There's no room left for you in the car. I'll be heading out first."

Just as she was about to get in, Stephen placed an unrelenting hand on the door, saying, "I'll drive. I'll be your bodyguard and driver for the day."

Tessa arched a brow at him. "Is that so? How much will you be charging per day, Mr. Jacobson?"

"Not a single penny," he promptly replied.

Tessa chuckled and retorted, "They say that the most precious things are

priceless. I couldn't possibly accept your free service."

Stephen leaned into her personal bubble, closing in on her until their breaths mingled.

As their gazes met, she saw the unmistakable affection in his eyes. He murmured lowly, "Then, why don't you name your price?"

Tessa felt as though she was on cloud nine as she joked, "How does 50 cents sound?"noveldrama

"Deal," he drawled.

His eyes were filled with mirth. Then, he walked around the car and tossed the keys to his Maybach to Wynn, saying, "You can drive my car."

She turned to look at Tessa, waiting for her confirmation.

Wynn only left the car upon seeing Tessa's nod.

Stephen wasted no time sitting in the driver's seat, asking, "What would you like for lunch?"

Tessa buckled herself in, replying, "I'm fine with anything."

Soon, the white McLaren pulled to a stop before a top-tier restaurant called Hidden Clouds.

Once they stepped inside, they were greeted by soft lighting and refined decor. The complementary

furnishing resulted in an elegantet

atmosphere. Even the air within the establishment seemed to carry the faint scent of high-end spices.

Tessa had been here a few times before. The restaurant only used imported ingredients, and even itse head chef hailed from Fairford.. Nevertheless, the restaurant lived up to its fame, as every dish served was a feast for both the eyes and the palate.

She didn't hesitate to order two of her favorite dishes.

One of them was a bluefin tuna dish paired with black truffle and light red wine. It was a delicacy that seemed to melt in her mouth and had an exquisite texture.

She also chose a medium-rare pan-seared steak with foie gras. It was made with the best beef available, resulting in a tender and juicy dish.

The steak was served with a foie gras sauce made using traditional Fairfordian techniques. Thus, every bite was a dream to the taste buds.

Although she had said that she was fine with anything earlier, Stephen made a fantastic choice by bringing her here. After all, this was one of her favorite places to dine in.

The atmosphere inside the restaurant was romantic as gentle piano music flowed

in the background.
