Brad was out of his mind to let Sean have ice cream in the middle of winter. He clearly didn't realize that a young child would suffer from digestive issues with cold food.

Nadine felt a surge of intense anger toward Brad. Her eyes were red and teary as she glared at him, looking as if she wanted to tear him apart.

Compared to Nadine's frustration, Brad was remarkably calm. He briefly glanced at Nadine before turning his attention back to Sean and gently asked, "Is this what you wanted?"

Sean took a big lick of the ice cream and gave Nadine a sweet smile. "Mommy, I wanted it. It's not Daddy's fault. Please don't be mad. If you're angry, you'll get wrinkles, and wrinkles aren't pretty."

Nadine was speechless with anger, and she glared at Brad with frustration. Seeing her like this made Sean nervous. He quickly took another lick of his ice cream. Then, he ran over to Nadine and reached out with his chubby little hand.

"Mommy, please don't be mad. I just wanted to try it. If you don't like me eating it, I won't do it again. It's really good. Please have a bite too, okay?"

He held the ice cream up to Nadine, looking at her with big, pleading eyes.

The moment Sean's soft little hand touched hers, Nadine's anger melted away. She couldn't stay mad at him.

She knelt down, patted Sean's soft hair, and sighed. "Don't do this again in the future. This is a one-time thing."

After handling Sean, Brad got up from the sofa with a serious expression. "Nadine, you promised to give me a back rub!"

Nadine pinched Sean's soft cheek and replied, "Just you wait!"

All her frustration shifted to Brad, who was the cause of it all. If it weren't for him,

Sean wouldn't have thought about eating ice cream in winter.

Even though Nadine rubbed Brad's back so hard it turned red, he acted like nothing was wrong. Brad lounged in the bathtub, enjoying the attention with a smug look on his face.
