“But Mr. Shane is actually planning to resort to violence against Ms. Neville.

Jupiter pondered for a moment. “Shane mentioned this to me before; he’s always liked Jane.

“If they could end up together, it might not be such a bad thing.”

Zackie frowned, then fell silent for a moment before advising, “What I mean is, we should be careful and avoid provoking the other families from the ancient martial arts world.”

Bowen Moffett, sitting on one side, snorted coldly. “Shane likes a woman–what do those families have to gossip about?

“Even if they’re dissatisfied, so what?

“Is that so?” Robin, Joanna, and Eira walked into the council hall.

Bit by bit, she began to regain some strength.

Robin gave her shoulder a pat and pushed her toward Joanna and Eira. “It’s okay! I will avenge you!”

All the Moffett’s strong members in the hall held their breath.

Jupiter immediately stood up. “So, this is Mr. Drakebane. It’s an honor to have you visit us, truly a privilege…

With a slap, Robin completely ignored the Moffett patriarch, slamming Shane into the ground with one strike.

“Grandpa, Dad, help me!” Shane screamed in agony.

Bowen trembled, rooted to the spot, too terrified to say another word.

Jupiter’s face turned pale. “Mr. Drakebane, I believe you’ve misunderstood us. Shane was once engaged to Ms. Neville-”

Crack! Robin still ignored him and stomped on Shane’s left leg, breaking it.

Crack! Crack! Crack! The sound of bones breaking echoed as Shane’s cries grew weaker.

Finally, with a final stomp, Robin crushed Shane’s skull.
