“If your grandpa had passed his power to mediocre, unworthy people like you, he would have betrayed the republican ideals his generation fought for.

“He would have dishonored those who gave their lives for the peace, happiness, and equality we have today!

“And what do you think your glory means?

“Is it the power to be above others? Or is it the right to oppress and exploit people?

Ethaned angrily, “You’re all so hypocritical! You claim it’s for the people, but your actions show a

completely different story!”

Ryder shook his head, disappointment clear in his expression. “Ethan, you’ve let me down in ways I never imagined.

“The great ideals your grandfather’s generation fought for were about equality and freedom for all–not the tyranny and privilege you speak of.

“If it were otherwise, what would make us any different from Autreynia or the Western imperialist powers?

“You mention Lord Westeria handing the Westeria Token to Catherine, while Maverick, Elliott and Brendon received everything they could wish for.

“Look at what they’ve done.

“They’ve stuck to your grandfather’s ideals, fighting for this land and the people, not for power and privilege.
