Flora’s Guide to a Second Chance at Love and Life

Chapter 1730

The two of them were wrapped up in their own little world until Amy's phone call shattered the cozy vibe. Fiona was already in a bit of a mood and really didn't feel like picking up, but Amy was relentless, calling over and over again.

"Fiona, you need to come back," Amy's voice echoed through the line, only to be abruptly cut off before Fiona could say a word.

Feeling a bit lost, Fiona glanced at Jackson with a resigned sigh and had no choice but to say goodbye.

"It's all good, I'll take you back. We've got all the time in the world," Jackson reassured her, holding her hand as he walked her to the entrance of Westbury College.

"Goodnight, big brother."

"Goodnight."

Jackson stood at the entrance, watching her until she disappeared from view, then headed off from Westbury College.

Fiona, on the other hand, was fuming. If Amy didn't have a damn good reason for dragging her back, there'd be hell to pay. What a mood killer! It was her first date with Jackson since landing in the States, and now it was ruined. No way she wasn't angry.

With a stormy expression, she walked into the dorm, not getting a word out before Amy hurried her over to her bed, pointing at the half-drenched mattress.

"What happened?" Fiona asked.

Amy just shook her head, her eyes darting over to Jane, who was lounging on her bed.

In their dorm, if anyone was going to cause trouble for Fiona, it was Jane. No doubt about it. And she looked the most suspicious right now.

"I came back to find your bed like this and called you right away. Plus, Jane was holding a basin at the time," Amy explained, gesturing to the washbasin by the bathroom door, then glanced at the soaked bed, marching straight over to Jane and yanking back her curtain with a steely look.

Sure enough, Jane was there, sitting on her bed, eyes locked on Fiona and Amy. She looked as guilty as sin.

"What are you doing?" Jane shrunk back into her covers, suddenly noticing something was off about Fiona.

With Fiona staying silent, Jane got even more nervous. That pretty face, not saying a word, looked like it could eat her alive.

Not even Lizzy got this intense when she was mad. Fiona seemed like a force of nature.

"Did you pour water on my bed?" Fiona asked.

Jane snorted but kept her mouth shut. She was too scared to speak, worried that Fiona might actually hit her. Fiona had that kind of Fjona

reputation-cross her, and it was game over. Total maniac!

"Speak up!" Fiona demanded, looking down at Jane.

Jane swallowed hard, pointing at Amy. "You really believe her? Just 'cause she says I did it, doesn't make it true!"

"That's why I'm asking you," Fiona said, her face a mask of calm.

Jane was at a loss, yanking her curtain back down with a huff. "I'm going to sleep."

"Last chance," Fiona warned.

Fiona's words hung in the air, but

here what did Fiona know? Even if she did soak Fiona's bed, so what?

But just as she was feeling smug, Fiona came back with a big bucket of cold water from the bathroom. Without missing a beat, she yanked Jane's curtain back and doused her from head to toe, leaving he drenched.
