Flora’s Guide to a Second Chance at Love and Life

Chapter 1731

Jane was completely caught off guard, drenched from head to toe by the bucket of water. Her sheets and blankets were so soaked they could practically drip.

After dousing her, Fiona simply turned and walked away, not even bothering to say a word.

Amy stood there, dumbstruck. She'd never seen anyone handle such a big bucket of water with such ease. It was nothing short of impressive!

Her bag of chips tumbled to the floor as her eyes stayed glued to Fiona. To her, Fiona was like a warrior goddess reincarnated. If she were Jane, she'd be furious, maybe even scared.

"Fiona, you're incredible!" Amy quickly set down her snacks and rushed to the window near Fiona's bed, leaning against the frame. "You really went for it! I love your style, Fiona."

Her words were cut off by Jane's scream as she finally snapped back to reality. She yanked open the curtains, shouting angrily, "Fiona, have you lost your mind?" Jane was about to explode. She was drenched, and the smell was horrendous. The water Fiona had dumped on her must have been from the cleaning bucket! "Fiona, why did you pour a bucket of water on me?" Jane frantically grabbed tissues, trying to wipe off the filth. The stench was becoming unbearable.

It was enough to make her gag. This witch!

"An eye for an eye," Fiona said coolly, her face devoid of emotion.

She didn't even glance at Jane again, focusing on packing her things to crash at her apartment for the night.

She wasn't interested in causing more drama with Jane this late. She'd rather get a decent night's sleep.

"Even so, did you have to soak me?"

"I told you to move, and you didn't. Not my problem."

Cofurious Jane became. She

couldn't believe Fiona had pushed her to this point; she was on the brink of a meltdown.

"So, you used dirty water from the bathroom?"

Fiona paused her packing, thinking for a moment. She hadn't

considered whether it was bathroom water, she just grabbed it for convenience without filling a fresh bucket.

"Oh, it was convenient."

"Fiona, I'm going to kill you!"

Jane snatched a nearby hanger and tried to wrap it around Fiona's neck, a move she'd used successfully before.

But this time, she was up against Fiona. In a flash, Fiona twisted, flipping the situation and looping the hanger around Jane's neck, pulling it tight.

Jane struggled to breathe, desperately trying to get free, but failed each time. Fiona's strength was surprising, and Jane was pinned, unable to move.

"Kill me? Not even close," Fiona whispered icily in her ear. "I know all your trieks. I'd advise against trying any games; you can't handle my retaliation."

With a swift kick, Fiona sent Jane sprawling, reclaiming the hanger from her neck.

"Live by the sword, die by the sword," Fiona said, turning to leave with her backpack.

Amy was stunned, as was their other roommate, who had watched the entire scene unfold in disbelief.
