Chapter 1343 Entering the Netheris Domain

“Mr. Ramsey!”

A soft mist curled around them, and through the fog, a graceful woman could be seen bowing.

Daphne?

Robin pushed aside a looming white dragon and moved closer to her. “What are you doing here?”

“Mr. Ramsey, after Rita left, I stayed here, waiting, never leaving.

“I knew you’d return.”

Robin examined Daphne’s outfit–she clearly prepared for a long journey ahead.

“You’ve known I’d come to Peachgrove all along?”

Without hesitation, Daphne knelt before him. “Mr. Ramsey, while I was in Nordmare, I overheard my grandfather and mentor discussing ancient relics and fragments of information about Dragon Ridge Valley.

“I figured the Netheris Domain you’re heading toward could be connected to Peachgrove in Dragon Ridge Valley.”

Her eyes met Robin’s, a somber expression crossing her face.

“They said that 20 years ago, on the night the Dragon Manor family was destroyed, Young Lord Dragon disappeared after a fierce battle in Dragon Ridge Valley against multiple super martial artists from the World of Darkness. After that night, he was never heard from again.

“They believe Young Lord Dragon likely entered the Netheris Domain.

“Just days ago, I learned that Ms. Dunn’s soul was drawn away by Caym, and I am certain, Mr. Ramsey, you’ll enter the Netheris Domain, eliminate all of the Dark Syndicate’s followers, and clear the region!

“I want to accompany you, Mr. Ramsey, into the Netheris Domain to retrieve Ms. Dunn’s soul.”

Robin paused for a moment before responding, “Get up.

“The dangers in the Netheris Domain are unknown. We might not even make it back. Why risk yourself?

“Stay here on Earth. Live peacefully.”

But Daphne stayed kneeling, unwilling to rise.

“Mr. Ramsey, I am tired of this ugly, miserable world of Earth. Rita’s gone. If you leave too, there will be no reason for me to live.

“I beg you, Mr. Ramsey, take me with you into the Netheris Domain. Even if it means enduring fire and blood, even if there’s no return, I won’t regret it.

“As long as I’m by your side, no matter the dangers, I don’t care.

“Please, Mr. Ramsey, don’t abandon me!”

The white dragon glanced at Daphne and then at Robin, gently nudging Robin with its large head a few

Robin understood–it was requesting mercy for Daphne. Perhaps having her along on the journey into the Netheris Domain wouldn’t be such a bad thing.

“Alright.” Robin’s gaze softened as he looked at Daphne.

Though Daphne was from a renowned Sakuranian family, the Rivers family had always treated her as nothing more than a tool.

For 20 years, she had lived in isolation, with no one to rely on.

Now, with Rita’s death, Daphne had lost her last connection to stability.

Her claim of being tired of the world wasn’t just words.

“Get up. I’ll take you with me to Netheris.”

At that moment, the Larvikite Dragon on Robin’s shoulder jumped with surprising enthusiasm, leaping into Daphne’s collar and curling up in her arms.

Daphne screamed in surprise.

My God, this little rascal is shameless!

Robin stood frozen, staring at the scene.

“Come back!” he ordered.

Reluctantly, the Larvikite Dragon crawled out of Daphne’s collar, clearly irritated, its tail swishing as it returned to Robin’s shoulder.

“If you disrespect Ms. West again, I’ll roast you and eat you!”

The Larvikite Dragon immediately closed its eyes, laying still on Robin’s shoulder, visibly shaken.

Daphne, flustered and blushing from the earlier incident, could hardly believe the little creature had just crawled into …

Robin glanced at her.

The recent events of Rita’s death had clearly taken a toll on Daphne–she looked more exhausted than ever.

“Eat this.” Robin handed her a pouch filled with the Bloodshade Fruits.

“We don’t know what the Netheris Domain holds. A strong body will be crucial for survival.”

Daphne accepted the fruits, quickly eating five of them. Instantly, she felt a surge of strength.

Her once weak and fragile body now felt renewed, as if every cell was recharged with power.

Robin patted the white dragon on the head. “Stay here. If anyone tries to harm Shirley, make sure to take care of them!”

The white dragon nudged Robin’s chest with its massive head, then leapt into the air, letting out a sharp roar that reverberated through Dragon Ridge Valley.

“Are you ready?” Robin asked, turning to Daphne, pointing at the pouch of Bloodshade Fruits. “Take it with you; it might come in handy.”

Daphne nodded.

Robin took her hand, and together, they leapt into the dense network of codes on the emerald plaque.

In an instant, everything around them went black, and the sound of howling wind filled their ears.

Surrounded by swirling storms and the deafening roars of wild beasts, they felt themselves plummeting into an endless void.

“Hold onto my hand.” Robin struggled to stay balanced, gripping Daphne tightly as she was almost swept away by the powerful forces.

The Larvikite Dragon, perched calmly on his shoulder, seemed unnervingly relaxed, almost as if it enjoyed the chaos.

Could it have come from the Netheris Domain?

In the darkness, two beams of blue light suddenly pierced the void, racing directly toward Daphne.

The Larvikite Dragon, with its strange, large eyes, was watching her from the corner of its gaze.

Noticing the odd eyes focused on her, Daphne laughed.

“Hahaha … ”

The Larvikite Dragon shuddered in fear, quickly turning its head away, its body instinctively pressing closer to Robin.

Using the faint blue light, Daphne saw the movement and her laughter grew louder. “Hahaha…”

The Larvikite Dragon immediately closed its eyes and shrank into Robin’s shoulder, trembling. noveldrama

It wouldn’t dare look at Daphne anymore.

Robin, watching the scene unfold, couldn’t help but laugh, patting the Larvikite Dragon. “Looks like you’ve met your match.

“Next time you disrespect her, Ms. West will laugh you to death.”

The Larvikite Dragon trembled, its body shaking uncontrollably.

Robin was amused by the idea that this creature was actually terrified of Daphne’s captivating laugh.

Seeing Daphne in her carefree, wild state, he asked, “Alright, are you really going to laugh him to death?”

Daphne stopped laughing, then gripped Robin’s arm tightly. Her expression turned serious as she braced herself for the extraordinary journey ahead.

They continued to plummet through the darkness, falling at breakneck speed. How long it lasted, they couldn’t tell, but it felt as though every ounce of energy had been drained from their bodies.

Had they not consumed the Bloodshade Fruits before entering the Netheris Domain, they weren’t sure they would have survived the brutal conditions.

With a muffled thud, Robin and Daphne landed on a soft, thick surface.

The world around them remained pitch–black, and nothing was visible.

They could feel the deep layer of leaves beneath them, at least 30 feet thick.

Without the cushioning of the leaves, even with their strength, the fall would have been disastrous.

The air was thick with sandstorms and howling winds.

Robin pulled out an essence stone; its faint light barely pierced the darkness.

However, in this desolate realm, the light from the essence stone seemed to fade almost immediately.

With the weak glow, they could just make out their surroundings–an endless stretch of Dark Woods. Daphne whispered, “Do we have to go through these woods to reach the Netheris Domain?”

Robin scanned the area, unsure of which way to go.

Suddenly, a wave of cold, ominous energy swept over them.

“Mr. Ramsey, look!” Daphne gripped Robin’s arm, pointing ahead.

Blood–red and sickly green eyes glowed from the darkness, watching them closely.
