Each of these exotic creatures had survived because they were the strongest of their kind, the result of countless years of evolution.

They had been placed here by the cosmic laws to protect the boundaries between realms, an essential task to preserve the balance of the universe.

These creatures resided between the Netheris Domain and Earth’s realm, in a dangerous region known as the Dark Woods.

To enter the Netheris Domain, one had to traverse this perilous forest.

This was the universal law of conservation.

Should this balance be disturbed, chaos would spread across the various realms under the Galactic Alliance’s protection.

The Dark Syndicate and the Curnow couple were prime examples of those who had broken these sacred rules.

In the universe, there were immutable laws.

For the weak, these laws were unavoidable, follow them to the letter, or face disaster.

For the strong, however, these laws were meant to be challenged.

To defy the rules and break into the Netheris Domain, one would first need to deal with these formidable guardians.

As Robin stepped into the Dark Woods, his eyes adjusted to the enveloping shadows.

Since his return from Snow Valley, Robin had noticed dramatic changes within his body–changes brought on by the enhancement from the Dragonblood Stone.

Before entering the Netheris Domain, he had consumed several Bloodshade Fruits, which further transformed him.

Now, Robin realized he could see clearly in the dark, his vision piercing through the night to reveal the hidden world around him..

He glanced at the forest again. It stretched endlessly, a vast wilderness filled with towering trees.

Some trees were so wide that it would take at least a dozen people to encircle them.

The ground was covered with wild grass and crawling with countless poisonous insects and vicious noveldrama

creatures.

These twisted, unnatural beasts were unlike anything found in Earth’s jungles.

Each exotic beast radiated a terrifying, multicolored glow from its eyes.

The largest of them were massive, the size of multi–story buildings.

They were scattered throughout the forest like hills, their enormous bodies obstructing the path.

Their cavernous mouths, dripping with blood, were large enough to swallow two fifty–ton trucks at once.

Snakes coiled around the trees had glowing, bloodshot eyes, their breath thick with the stench of death.

Suddenly, a small, black–shelled insect, no bigger than a mouse, leapt onto Robin’s hand. Its sharp, needle- like appendages pierced his skin.

With a swift motion, Robin swatted the creature, causing a foul stench to fill the air.

In mere moments, more insects–tens, then hundreds, then thousands–began to crawl toward Robin and Daphne.

The sheer number of insects swarming them made it impossible for Robin and Daphne to use their usual techniques to eliminate them.

Fighting back furiously, they struck with all their might, their blows landing in a vicious storm, quickly covering the ground with the corpses of the beasts..

But then, a swarm of gigantic snakes attacked.

Robin drew his dragon dagger.

Before he could even react, the snakes lunged at him, their massive jaws gaping wide.

Robin fought back with relentless fury, severing the heads of snake after snake.

But each time he cut off a head, it regenerated immediately.

No matter how many times he hacked at them, the snakes‘ heads grew back again and again.

If this cycle continued, even Robin’s incredible strength wouldn’t be enough to endure the never–ending onslaught.

As the creatures continued to flood the area, Daphne spoke up, her voice laced with concern. “Mr. Ramsey, we might not make it. Let me lure them away while you find a way out of the Dark Woods!”

“No!” Robin replied, a grim smile on his face as he faced the advancing beasts.

“I don’t believe in dead ends. There’s always a way out!

“These exotic beasts are nothing more than animals, no matter how fierce.

“In situations like this, the strongest will always reign supreme!

“Draw your blade! We carve our way through!

“Shirley’s soul is still out there—we can’t die here!”

Despite the endless waves of smaller and mid–sized creatures attacking, they could barely keep up, let alone defend themselves from the larger beasts looming in the distance.

After what felt like an eternity, they had only managed to advance a few feet.

At this rate, escaping the Dark Woods seemed impossible.

Then, a series of earth–shattering roars rang out from all directions.

Dozens of enormous creatures, towering like mountains, locked their cold, predatory eyes on Robin and Daphne.

Each step they took sent violent tremors through the ground, shaking the very forest beneath their feet.

Exhausted and on the brink of collapse, Robin and Daphne felt they had reached their limit.

“Take the Bloodshade Fruits and eat them,” Robin muttered, his strength rapidly fading.

The Bloodshade Fruits had the power to replenish their energy.

He immediately urged Daphne to retrieve them.

Together, they devoured the fruits, and their strength surged back almost instantly.

“Let’s do this!”

With renewed determination, they roared together.

The giant beasts closed in on them, each step causing the earth to quake beneath their feet.

Facing these terrifying creatures, it was clear that if they were to be trampled, Robin and Daphne would be crushed.

But just as they prepared for another attack, the Dark Woods fell deathly silent.

The enormous beasts stopped in their tracks, their terrifying presence vanishing.

Thousands of snakes froze in mid–air, their bodies motionless.

Its once–menacing eyes now showed fear.

Its massive jaws snapped shut, and the beast lay down, bowing to Robin and Daphne.

Before they could fully comprehend the situation, two blue lights flickered in the forest’s darkness, illuminating the massive creatures.

The lights scanned the area like powerful searchlights.

Robin suddenly understood.

Turning slowly, he glanced at his left shoulder.

There, perched comfortably, was a small, dark figure.

With two lantern–like blue eyes, it surveyed the creatures around them with an air of regal authority.

At that moment, Robin realized–this small creature, the one the white dragon had given him, was the true king of the Dark Woods!

The Larvikite Dragon studied Robin and Daphne’s wounds, and its eyes flared with a powerful, untouchable fury.

The dragon leapt from Robin’s shoulder and, step by step, approached the giant exotic beast before them.

The beast trembled in terror, emitting a tortured wail as it begged the dragon for mercy.

Robin and Daphne stood in stunned silence.

This world truly is full of surprises.

A tiny creature, no larger than a hand, is the ruler of these monstrous beasts.

Then, what happened next stunned them even more.

The massive exotic beast suddenly sprang up and slammed its head into a giant tree, causing its head to explode upon impact.

The Larvikite Dragon surveyed the scene with an expression of calm authority.

Instantly, the other exotic beasts parted, creating a path as they all kneeled on either side.

The dragon turned back to Robin, walked toward him, and hopped proudly back onto his shoulder.

The look in its eyes was as prideful as could be.

“Wow! Look at you!” Robin grinned, clearly impressed.
